Culture & Society
Deep in the heart of the forests, where the veil between this realm and the Feywild is thin you may come across the elusive race of Cenarians. One of the very first of the primal races, the Cenarian were created by the pantheon to represent one of the pillars of creation, that of prey. While many may look upon these creatures as weak game awaiting some hunter to take their lives, they are anything but. Peaceful in nature Cenarian are strong, noble, and proud protectors of the forest that will fight with unmatched ferocity if cornered by an enemy!
Like their Tabaxi counterparts Cenarians can be found in nearly any corner of the realm where there are dense woodlands for them to roam. The Cenarian people have no specific communities, but rather roam about their territories in small family units. They will occasionally leave their forest homes to wander the realm, particularly when they are younger and their blood is hot.
The Cenarian people resemble very tall humanoids crossed with the features of a deer. The males display great racks of antlers that grow larger and grander as they age. Their heads closely resemble that of a deer as well with an elongated muzzle and large erect ears. They also have the strong ungulate legs of a deer. Their entire bodies are covered with a soft fur that ranges widely in both shades and patterns, anything that would help them blend with the surrounding woods in which they live.
