Overview

An eccentric scent shop devoted to capturing the fragrances of places, moments, and memories. Perfumes, incense, oils, diffusers, candles, and stranger methods are used to recreate everything from distant forests and foreign markets to sea air, summer rain, or the remembered scent of a childhood home. Returning wanderers often bring the proprietor samples and descriptions from their travels, hoping to preserve a little of somewhere they may never visit again.

Mist believes memories are sometimes locked behind scents whose names people no longer know. Her greatest satisfaction comes when one of her creations unexpectedly opens that door, bringing back a place or moment with a clarity the customer hadn’t experienced in years.
