Culture & Society
The Orcs of Vaeria are a very proud and fierce people. They live in nomadic communities that range across their territories, living off the land, in harmony with nature. They have a strong sense of their place in the world and how to survive on what the land provides.
Conflict between neighboring tribes is a common occurrence among the Orcs. The struggle for resources and territory is as much a part of their culture as hunting and crafting. Centuries of fighting for their survival has taught them to become savage fighters and they take great pride in their combat prowess!
There are two types of Orcs on Vaeria; those that dwell on the windswept plains of the Verdant Sea, and those that call the steaming jungles of Shinraja home. The primary difference between the two is their coloration. The Orcs of the plains have a dark brown or tanned skin tone, while their jungle dwelling cousins appear in shades of dark green. Regardless of their origins though all orcs have powerfully built frames with a great deal of muscle. They have long flowing dark colored hair that they usually braid and tie various ornamentation within.
